Pumpellyite Clusters

Clusters of Pumpellyite whiskers (ca. 1 mm long) on Epidote and Adularia. These were in a clacite-filled vug found in the tailings pile of the Caledonia copper mine near Greenland, Michigan, during the Copper Country Mineral Retreat, August 2006. The calcite was dissolved away revealing the delicate crystals within.
